The Taisho Tripitaka is the standard modern edition of the Chinese Buddhist Canon, compiled between 1924 and 1934. It contains 2,920 texts in 85 volumes, including translations of Indian sutras, Chinese commentaries, and original Chinese Buddhist works. It is the most widely used edition of the Chinese Canon in modern scholarship.
