Avalokiteshvara

The Bodhisattva of Compassion, one of the most widely venerated figures in Mahayana Buddhism. Known as Guanyin in Chinese, Kannon in Japanese, and Chenrezig in Tibetan Buddhism. Embodies the compassion of all Buddhas and is said to hear the cries of all sentient beings.
