Nagarjuna Founder of Madhyamaka

An Indian Buddhist philosopher (c. 150-250 CE) who founded the Madhyamaka (Middle Way) school of Mahayana philosophy. His Mulamadhyamakakarika (Fundamental Verses on the Middle Way) is one of the most important philosophical works in Buddhist history, establishing the doctrine of emptiness (sunyata).
